New Job! Please Read

In December my friend Ashley had a Pampered Chef party. I always get the invites to shows like Mary Kay, purse parties, clothes, etc. and with my busy schedule it's always on the bottom of my list (no offense but I'm sure most of you feel the same way) however, this show I decided I would go I was finally getting to the point where I felt like hey, I need some girlfriends to hang out with too! I had so much fun at this Pampered Chef party that I thought hey, I could maybe do this but I wasn't totally sure! So I just decided I would Host a party for my friend who was going to be a new consultant and help her out and myself since I had no pampered chef products and I love them! I decided to sign and become a consultant that's right I am now a Pampered Chef consultant. Not knowing that when I decided to become a consultant I would be cut down to 10 hours per week at work! So it has all worked out because now I have more time to do shows and earn a little extra to help pay the bills those dreaded bills! Parties are fun but hosting parties are even better because you get great benefits! Did you even know if you just host one party you get 10% off the entire year? So if down the road you decided you wanted that ice cream scooper you would get an additional 10% off! Please spread the word I would greatly appreciate it! And if you would like to host a party email me at dal.pass@gmail.com and we can set up a time. This goes out to everyone even if your just passing by and don't usually leave comments on my blog! You can't loose anything by hosting a party only gain something!

We're Back!

A vacation was MUCH needed and a great deal came at the right time! Even though we went to Disneyworld on our Honeymoon we hadn't known that there was so much more Disney to see! I think after this trip we saw it all.. well almost!

Day 1: The first day was so cold! It was in the 30's I was not expecting that and did not come fully prepared! But there were the benefits of having 30 degree weather in Florida like not waiting in long lines and getting to see splash mountain logs with no people that I think was the best!
Day 2: This day was a little warmer but was still cold. We decided to hit the America station in Epcot and watch the long movie well maybe not watch but sleep in the warm comfy seats!
Day 3: Was the day we went to Animal Kingdom! I really enjoyed this park a lot! All the fun animals and it is just fun to see all the detail they put into this park. The ground looks like its hundred of years old but really its almost new! Disney thinks of everything! Imagine that!
Day 4 & 5: These days are kind of a blur but I am pretty sure we just hit up all the attraction we didn't want to miss
Day 6: As you scrolled down through the not in order pictures I am sure you noticed me with an American Idol Number on my shirt! That's right I tried out for the American Idol Experience at Hollywood Studios (A.K.A MGM) It was such a blast. I decided I might as well try and what did I have to loose? I love to sing and perform so it would just be a fun experience. I went into the first audition and sang How lovely to be a women from bye bye birdie. The lady asked me if I had been in that play because I performed it so well.. (gee thanks ma'am but I only watched the movie) She passed me onto the next round (this was a confidence booster I tell ya gee maybe I really can sing) Well the next part they took you into this red room with Ipods and a big list of karaoke songs. I had to pick out two songs to perform to the big guy before I could be on stage! I chose Ever Ever After by Carrie Underwood and Part of your world from the Little Mermaid. When I went into the 2nd audition I was nervous but excited! The guy was really nice and told me that no matter what happened that I should feel good that I got this far because they only take 400 auditions a day and only pass the top 10% onto the 2nd audition.. I mean if my calculations are correct that would mean only 40 2nd auditions a day... So he just pinned a rose on my nose! =-) Remember this all was just for fun and no assumptions! So I sang my song and as soon as the music started I knew I was gonna do bad so I just slapped a smile on my face and sang the song and tried my best! The music was loud and I couldn't hear my notes right so whatever It was just for fun and I had a blast! Honestly I really didn't want to be on stage that would have been scary, however, we went to a show and it was really like the real thing! AMAZING.. Disney thinks of it all!

TABOO

So we have these friends of ours Breanne and Chase. We like to hang out with them. It is always an adventure with them. I think out of all the months we've been good friends with them we have probably watched only 3 movies which is a good thing. It is not always the same old thing with them! So last night they came over for a late night of playing games. We started out playing clue, however, this game did not seem to have its magical effects as it did as a child so we decided to play a game of taboo. usually you would team up with your spouse right? Yet, we decided to go boys against girls. It is the only way! Men don't understand when you say something like " that place by the mall and the girls shouts out Costco!" (not that that is one of the words) But you get the idea right? The boys cheated by doing salt & blank! of course it is going to be pepper now tell me is that cheating or not? because they said it wasn't and we of course think it was! Taboo is my new favorite game and it gets very intense! So if your ever up for an intense game of Taboo call us up!

Change of Plans!

The Pampered Chef party will be held this Saturday at 11 am in stead of the 31st. I hope you all can come! It will be so much fun! When I was invited I wasn't sure if I really wanted to go to the Pampered Chef party but it was so fun to meet new people and learn a new recipe and just enjoy myself! Come I promise it won't be forever we will try to cut it to an hour! So I hope to see you there! Due to the fact that is one of the 3 most important days in Megan's life because she is choosing to get baptized! I feel so old when I think of having a niece and nephew who are old enough to choose the right and knowing that receiving the holy ghost is such a wonderful gift to have! It still seems like yesterday when I got baptized! I had to have everything like my older brothers and sisters did! The same church and my dad baptizing me! I could have had my oldest brother baptize me but I just wanted to be like everyone else and have my dad do it and now I am so glad I did! No offense Shaun! So Congrats Megan and Matthew for choosing the right to get baptized!
