oh my!

I can hardly believe that Jay D and I have been married for almost two whole years?! Life has flown by so fast! In the last 2 years (really 1 year and 9 months) but we will just pretend 2 years! Jay D is such a great husband and treats me SO good! I couldn't ask for a better husband! I always tease him that he can't tell me no! I can't complain about that I just have to try harder about not taking advantage of it! He is such a hard worker and puts 100% into everything! We have truly been so blessed! Everything we have is because of all his hard work!

We aren't the best at budgeting so if your giving a class sign me up!! But since we pay our tithing and have faith we always seem to have enough! Now that we have been married for about 2 years the question asked most is when are you going to start having kids? Right now I have no idea? Heavenly Father knows when its right and that's when it will happen!

Today was my day off so my friend Hayley, Breanne and I went to a movie and lunch! They both have little girls I felt a little left out because I wasn't pushing a stroller! But at least I can play with their babies and give them back when they need a diaper change and what not right? ha ha

For now everything is great and life couldn't be better! i feel like a load of stress has been taken off my shoulders and just happy again.. now i just need to loose 2o pounds! Than I will be the happiest person EVER!

To blog or not to blog.. that is the question

Okay really the title is just funny so i used it! Because I am going to keep my blog but the reason behind the blog is that I don't blog for others anymore I blog for myself. I used to be so worried about having an awesome blog that everyone wanted to read and comment on. but lets face it people I don't have that niche for writing amazing stories or a way with words. So now I am blogging for my sake! I like typing alot! sometimes I pretend I'm typing when I'm bored and write cool messages like Lauren your awesome or Lauren is so cool. Because I like spelling Lauren okay? But no one knows I pretend type but now whoever reads this will! lol I used to be a horrible one finger typer until I went to Junior High and they offered cool classes like keyboarding and you got to play on the computer the whole time with fun keyboarding games! It was AWESOME!!!! Now I am a really great typer it was the gift I was given! And honestly I think I am a pretty good speller kan't u tale?? Anyhow I am going to continue to blog even if its just to blog cuz I'm bored or to blog because I have something really cool to share with all of you! I've decided not to care what other bloggers might think of my blog and other family members think of my blog!! I am working on loving myself for me again and not worrying about what other people think of me because I can't be myself around them! I am silly and fun and a nice person!! I love people and i LOVE to talk oh how do i Love to talk! A little too much!!! I can talk forever! So talk to me! Okay now that I've made a complete fool of myself i will stop but now you all know a little bit more about how I am!!

Taking a leap of faith!

So as many of you know I have been working two jobs cutting hair!

Cookie Cutters and 2nd Avenue Salon

for about 2 months I took the manager job at Cookie cutters thinking it would be a piece of cake

little did I know that every little thing would fall upon my shoulders and between two jobs I just couldn't handle work, work and housework.

I wanted to be a wife too but felt I never had the time to clean the house, do laundry, cook, yard work, and the list goes on and on!

I'm a little sad to leave Cookie Cutters but also relieved. Getting punched and trying oh so hard to be patient with some of the naughty kids its really hard because you get to a point where you can't get them to sit still or keep their hands down and you don't know what else to do. Blowing bubbles didn't help, suckers didn't help, tickling didn't help..

Jay D and I have both decided that it was time to take a leap of faith. We now decided I work at 2nd avenue salon full time so I have more availability to take new clients and walk ins!

We decided that this option is the best option for our future. Because I already know once we start having little kiddies I won't want to go into the salon and sit all day waiting for walk ins when I have a sweet cuddly little baby at home! So now is the time to build my clientele so that when we do have a baby I can work like 2 days a week and have full days so i can be home with my family more!

This is a scary move for us but we believe it is the right choice! and I know if we put all our faith into the lords hands and pay our tithing everything will work out for us!

I am so grateful for the blessings of tithing and our savior. I'm not always a perfect person but I always try to be better. And that is why we have the atonement because we aren't perfect and our savior knew we wouldn't be perfect I just love him so much!

Spring cleaning!

I have decided that this Saturday I am going to take the day off and Spring clean my house! I am going to organize my food storage, my basement and start some yard work..

Do you have any good spring cleaning tips?? If so please share! because I'm sure many minds are better than one! This will be my first actual true spring cleaning since I've been married since we our homeowners now!

My goal is to become more organized and less cluttered I hate the cluttered feeling! YUCK!
