First Christmas

Our first Christmas was perfect! We woke up bright and early (because of me I can never sleep on Christmas eve) We went to Jay D's family in the morning and had so much fun watching Christmas through a kids eyes! Than we spent the evening with my family and my mom made her amazing Thanksgiving dinner! Yummy it was so good nothing is better than riced potatoes and sweet potatoes and yams! I hope all of you had as merry of a Christmas as we did!

Sweater Party!

Friday night Jay D and I went to the 2nd annual sweater party.

Jay D's attire consists of a green Christmas tree sweater as you can see and mine is my 8 year old child years teddy bear sweater that is much loved! Next year we will be much more prepared for this great event and we look forward to it! Thanks Messerly family!

The Joys of Christmas!

This past week was full of craziness and fun! Monday night we went down on the frontrunner with the Dalpias clan and went to CPK for dinner and than went over to see the lights.. but I'd like to go again because once is just not enough! I forgot my memory card for my camera so I don't have any pictures of that night =-( Tues: Jay D got sick with the stomach flu but was better for Wed. for my work Christmas party and the Timbermine! Yummy! Thurs. was just busy finishing up classes and Friday night is when we went to Christmas Village it was a lot of fun! We can just be silly by dancing and singing to the music I love hanging with my best friend all the time!

There really is a Light at the end of the road!

Today I got my STR (student tracking record) and it shows how many hours you have after each month! I am proud to say that I officially have 959 hours! I am almost half way there! After this month hopefully it will be over 1,000 except I keep missing for Christmas festivities! So to that I say there really is a end to this journey that seemed so far away! I will be finished this July!! YAY I am so excited!

The Spirit of Christmas!

Yes, this is our front room of our new house!

okay I'm joking this is what my front room will look like one day!

I love December and everything about it! Christmas, lights, music, happiness, laughter, family, giving gifts, shopping for others, decorating the tree (our first tree) Christmas movies, surprises, The Christmas story and the list goes on.

I can't explain it but their is just something about sitting in the family room with the Christmas tree all lit up with gifts and pretty ornaments... I just don't want to leave the room! It is like the peacefulness and calmness that emulates in the room! Snow would make everything perfect! I might have to buy fake snow... just kidding!

This will be our first Christmas together and I am so excited! Nothing is better than to spend Christmas with the one I love most!

on a different note..... I can't believe that Jay D and I have almost been together for 1 year! Jan. 19th was our first date and I can hardly believe that its just one month and 19 days away! We still have a lot of firsts in front of us that's for sure!

and one day... First child together... but not for a while! Let's get school done first and a house!

I probably lost most of you at I love Christmas but it is just fun to release my excitement for this exciting Christmas season and life I have to look forward too!

I am thankful for...

Considering it is almost one of the best days of the year I thought I would list some things that I am thankful for and really appreciate this year!

1. I am thankful for a extremely hardworking husband who insists on working hard every day!
2. I am thankful for food on the table to eat every day!
3. I am thankful for friends who call just to say hi and take time out of their busy schedule!
4. I am thankful for parents who appreciate me and guide me in the right direction with wonderful advice!
5. I am thankful for brothers and sister who have led and taught me by being great examples throughout my whole life!
6. I am thankful for all my fun crazy nieces and nephews who put a smile on my face each time I see them! I am always excited for lots of hugs and kisses!
7. I am thankful for all my in-laws who have included me in all their fun activities and made me feel at home!
8. I am thankful for the gospel and the many blessings I have seen come from tithing and choosing the right!
9. I am thankful for a car that gets me places and for the cheap gas right now!
10. I am thankful to be able to receive and education and to learn about many wonderful different things!
11. I am thankful for my ward and for my sweet primary class that teaches me so much each week!
12. I am thankful to have enough money each week to get only the things I need!
13. I am thankful for my home and having a nice warm place to sleep each night!
14. I am thankful for thanksgiving and the yummy food we get to eat!
15. I am thankful to have a job that pays the bills!

Twilight at midnight!

Thursday my cousin Sammy text me and said " I can't believe we are not going to the midnight showing of twilight! I can not wait till Saturday! do you want to go with me I found some tickets" So I ignored how tired I was and said shoot, ya I'll go! So we went and had a great time!!! We waited in line and played a little of Phase 10 and and made some new friends Katie and Nichole!

Girls weekend out!

This past weekend I went up with my in-laws to Girls Night out... Lets just say its not just a night but the whole weekend! It was fun! We went shopping to every store you can think of and ate lots of yummy food! It was a great chance to get to know everyone a little better since I am new to the family! Unfortunately some were missed this year... and we can't wait till you guys can come with us again! Next year I'll have to prepare myself for lots and lots of shopping and save my pennies and have my Christmas list ready to go!!! Thanks guys for making it such a great weekend!!! =-)

Halloween... finally

On Halloween night Jay D and I had a party with some of our friends! We had a blast everyone dressed up and brought something to eat and we played lots of games!

luckily I chose a costume that didn't require getting ready as you can tell!

Unfortunately, Jay D had an allergic reaction to his mask so he was unable to wear it that evening!

3. What was the most embarrassing moment of High School? Probably when I was running late to practice and was dragging my huge W-ette bag up the stairs and tripped up the stairs in front of the whole commons!

5. Were you considered a flirt? um.. ya to some guys! Not the really hot guys though they were to intimidating i just sat and stared

It is a hard N.O.C life!

For those of you who don't know I work at N.O.C. thats all i'm putting on the blogging world! So if you don't know what that is too bad! I am currently working full time, however, I really wanted a part time job here because the pay is good and I could get finished with hair school a lot faster! Well my prayers were answered! I'm going back part time and I'll be finished with hair school at least by May! YAY!

Just Simply...boring

After all the exciting stuff happend in my life new boyfriend, fast engagement, wedding bells and honeymoon... all the exciting life I used to share is gone! No I'm not complaining about anything just suggesting that I have nothing to BLOG about anymore... I ponder my brain to think of something exciting and new that has happend but nope same old every single day! And I am okay with a basic routine but everyonce in a while I need some spice in my life! I can layout my day to day life really easy

1. Wake up around 6:30

2. Drive to work around

3. Lunch break

4. Drive home from work

5. Find some food to eat (maybe if I feel up to it I'll cook something)

6. Watch some television

7. Clean up the Kitchen

8. and to end my basic routine day... Go to sleep!

See very basic and boring!

(okay maybe its not that basic but just to give you the basic idea)

How can I spice up my life a bit? It is too routine! I LOVE change.. as you can see because I change my background all the time.

I am a social girl and I love to be around people.. maybe make cooking nights with friends or being more active going to the gym (this is one I need to be doing) I just get home from work and I am so dead (even though I sit at a computer all day long) It just makes me tired and I want to be lazy! Lazy is my problem! I am too lazy!

Now the question is : How to become not Lazy? Let me know so I can be a more unroutine kind of gal!

Okay, So I have made a decision that I want to finish Cosmetology school and get my license because that job is SO me! I love talking to people and what better way than to talk all day long and making people beautiful!

However, one problem I am nervous to go back because I want appointments for every hour I am there and in order for me to do that I need YOUR help!

She weighs 7 pounds and 3 ounces and is 21 1/2 in long!

She looks just like her mom and she was born on her Daddy's Birthday!
